Welcome to
St Kingsmark Bowmen

St Kingsmark Bowmen is a friendly archery club located in Chepstow, Gwent, South Wales affiliated to the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS), the Welsh Archery Assocation (WAA) and the Gwent County Archery Association (GCAA).

We have a range of membership representing male and female from 10 years old to retirement.

We welcome beginners, experienced (and rusty!) archers. Please contact our Secretary for further details.

Shooting Times and Venues

The club regularly shoots twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays, during the outdoor season at Chepstow Athletic Club, and during the indoor season at Caerwent Community Centre and Beachley Army Camp gym. Learn More

Our Tournaments

St Kingsmark Bowmen regularly hosts the Gwent Indoor Championships in November and a FITA 18 in January at the army camp gym in Beachley. In September the club hosts the Two Rivers FITA Star at their home ground, the Chepstow Athletic Club.

Llantarnam Double Portsmouth

The final results for the Llantarnam Double Portsmouth held on Sunday 29th January 2012 are in:

Gold for Ann White (Ladies Barebow - Single Portsmouth)
Gold, a new Gwent record and White Dragon Award for Helen James (Ladies Longbow - Single Portsmouth)
Gold for Julian Cleak (Gents Compound - Double Portsmouth)

Ann managed to beat Rachel Watts by 1 point to secure first place in the Ladies Barebow.

With her outstanding score of 394, Helen managed to break the 2005 Gwent record by 8 points. Another 3 points and she would have broken the Welsh record! She also gained her White Dragon Award. Sam Moore, WAA Records Officer, sends his congratulations.

St Kingsmark Club Shoot

Well done to everyone who took part in the fourth round of the monthly Worcester shoot at Beachley on Friday 30th December. The results put Julie Warren in first place, Malcolm Davies in second place and in third place Chris Barber. View the results
